HiBob, the company that created Bob, the HR platform that is revolutionising how businesses function in the modern workplace, today announces the launch of its native Workforce Planning module. This module is intended to help businesses increase efficiency by making it simple for them to plan, track, and analyse their positions and employee data.
The process of attracting, hiring, and training qualified people within each department is known as workforce planning. Planning for the workforce helps businesses prevent under or overstaffing and encourages the hiring of workers with the right levels of education, training, and experience. In the end, it enables businesses to restructure their teams, assist the personal development of their workforce, and, consequently, enhance the overall success of the organisation.
Employing a workforce planning strategy enables businesses to develop realistic business strategies by carefully responding to new economic or technological developments that are altering the workplace. It also guarantees that while making, carrying out, and monitoring headcount planning decisions, HR provides visibility and data to the finance team and other senior stakeholders. Businesses that “workforce plan” are more likely to achieve overall success by strategically managing and taking care of personnel demands that are balanced with corporate objectives.
HiBob worked with a select group of more than 25 early adopters to design this highly appreciated use case using customer input. These were Eurowag, Parimatch, LHV, Danish Industry, Fiverr, and Landa who all served as design partners in the development of the prototype that led to the final module and helped define an MVP.
It is the cornerstone of efficient recruiting and hiring, minimises money, does away with ineffective hiring procedures, and makes precise job development projections possible. Importantly, it improves employee happiness, which raises staff retention. Workforce planning should ultimately assist in moving the company forward when all of these aspects line up with the long-term aims and objectives of the organisation.
With the help of HiBob’s workforce planning module, it is possible to prepare for cycles by creating and analysing various scenarios, including reorganisations, acquisitions, and other sizable disruptive events. Position planning is streamlined, and spreadsheets are transformed into operational procedures with complete analytics, accuracy, and visibility for the HR and financial teams. Additionally, it draws on analytics to spot any execution-related issues, detects skills gaps, which aids with succession planning, and tracks internal mobility when filling scheduled jobs.
