LinkedIn launches AI hiring assistant, automates HR tasks

LinkedIn has introduced the Hiring Assistant AI tool, aimed at assisting recruiters by automating routine tasks. Currently, this tool is part of a pilot program being utilized by select companies, including AMD, Canva, Siemens, and Zurich Insurance. The Hiring Assistant is designed to streamline the recruitment process by taking on tasks like summarizing job descriptions and searching for candidates. Recruiters can upload job details, and the tool automatically generates role qualifications. By creating a candidate pipeline, this feature allows recruiters to focus more on strategic activities, such as advising hiring managers and engaging with candidates.
