From an HR perspective, the promise and danger of workflow automation

Workflow automation combined with generative AI’s might is the go-to solution for eliminating all business bottlenecks in today’s ever-expanding, tech-integrated, cost-saving objectives, productivity metrics, and many other subtle aspects of business operations.

In Redpoint and Pipefy’s most recent Workflow Automation Survey, 160 US respondents—of whom 14% were HR professionals—from companies with more than 500 workers shared their thoughts. About half of HR directors estimate a 68% increase in productivity when process automation is powered by generative AI.

Numerous benefits were indicated by the poll, which suggests why process automation software is in high demand. A few issues also came up that make it difficult for companies to use these solutions at all.
