Business executives looking to deploy AI safely and effectively can find further tools from EqualAI, including the Algorithmic Impact Assessment Tool.
A leading voice for ethical AI governance, EqualAI® is a nonprofit organization. Today, it announced the debut of its Algorithmic Impact Assessment (AIA). This new tool will assist enterprises of all sizes in putting the recently published National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) guidelines on bias in AI identification and management into practice. The guidelines are from the U.S. Department of Commerce.
EqualAI collaborates with enterprises to make sure they understand responsible AI governance principles and implement them. Business executives are rushing to apply generative AI broadly, which has led to worries about the possible disadvantages it may cause to vulnerable people. This is why the EqualAI AIA was launched. According to Miriam Vogel, President and CEO of EqualAI, “Generative AI systems feel new and exciting, but they must be used responsibly to avoid perpetuating unconscious bias and systemic inequalities in our society.” “We must not let our excitement for these revolutionary technologies derail us from implementing responsible AI governance best practices.”
