Skilled tax professionals are more critical than ever to an effective tax function.Yet organizations are struggling to find the qualified people they need. Indeed, a joint survey by the American Productivity and Quality Center and the Institute of Management Accountants, published in 2015, found large gaps between the skills organizations need for success — such as leadership and strategic thinking — and the skills that entry-level management accounting and finance professionals possess.
