Workplace Trends: Collaboration in the Remote Era

While working remotely might have been a new venture for workers in this COVID-19 era, the idea of teams spread across multiple locations was not entirely foreign. In what was close to an even split in responses, just over half of the group was already working in teams spread across multiple office locations and varied shifts throughout the day. The experience of collaborating asynchronously with teammates, working to achieve a shared goal, was not something new to much of the workforce that moved into a remote or hybrid arrangement.
